Don’t matter, i haven’t misspelled the title. GLaxium is a OpenGL-Game like the classics Galaga and R-Type (vertical-shooter).
OpenGL isn’t only a thing of modern graphiccards. It’s also a good interface for nice explosioneffects, but those were sincerly combined with polygone-explosions of the spaceships (flying textured triangles).
The sound is not so a main feature of this game, but the explosions are maintaining the game ;D - and that’s why you play a shooter - isn’t it so?
So use your Weapons against all possible enemies and if they give you a powerup after killing, then collect it as fast as you can - so you may fly through the level wit invulnerability or other cool things.
