Racer is named equal to another game on gamezworld.de, but it is a different kind of sportgame.
Instead driving along Formula One-Courses you have to prove yourself in Streetraces. You also don’t have to steer a Formula One Car! So you have to choose out of known cars like Fiat Bravo or Renault Megane.
If you just play the Trainingmode, you can choose all cars for practising. But if you play the career-mode, you have to pay for the cars and the prices is depending on the performance each car has. Cause the game is created by some czech programmers, you have to pay in "tschechische Kronen".
So you take a car, pay for it and after that you can try yourself on different courses. There are courses for beginner, there no money for starting has to be paid, but also the price for the winner is much lower than in other courses. And the earned money is important, because you have to tune your car or you may have to repair it.
So you fight against the others for climbing up the career-ladder. But you also have the chance to play this game together with a second player - and this makes much more fun than playing with the AI-opponents.
The Graphic of this game is wonderful and together with dynamic shadows and lights (drinving in the night) you can see some funny effects like humans you can kill (just make a crash to them ;D) - if you don’t like that "feature" just drive carefully ;D.
The sound is something strange and the backgroundmusic can make you scream if you suddenly hear somebody singing in czech.
The englisch translation isn’t as completed as you may think, the course-descriptions are in czech and only some words are translated in english. But that doesn’t matter, you can just have fun by playing that game!.
In this version already 7 courses are included and the career-mode brings some deep in the gameplay of the mostly boring freeware-racing-games.
